Can condoms cause you to have peeing sensation?

I have been with my girlfriend for 8 months and have recently started having sex. We are very consistent, about 6 or more times a week. We usually use durex Her Sensation which are the ones with ribs. About 3 weeks ago I kept having the sensation to pee and every time I would go to the restroom nothing would come out. It stuck for almost 2 weeks. Know my girlfriend is getting the same thing she feels like she has too pee but nothing comes out. I was wondering what could cause this. Could it be a latex allergy, could it be the lubricant, or could it be that from all the sex that are parts are sensitive or slightly raw.
No There is no pain when we urinate just a tingling sensation of having to urinate constantly.

Is there pain when you try to go? To me it sounds like a UTI (urinary tract infection)
